Do reconditioned tools include a warranty?

Festool offers a one year warranty for all reconditioned tools sold on festoolrecon.com. In order to obtain a one-year warranty, no tool registration is required.

What is the condition of refurbished tools?

Reconditioned tools may include items which have previously been in service, as well as discontinued items and dealer returns.  All previously used tools are inspected and tested by Festool technicians, and are determined to meet Festool’s high performance and quality standards.  In some cases these tools and/or their containers may have minor scratches, dents or other cosmetic blemishes, however we guarantee them to be fully operational prior to leaving our facility.

What is the return policy for tools bought on festoolrecon.com?

All sales on festoolrecon.com are final.

Can I redeem any Festool vouchers on my purchase on festoolrecon.com?

No, we do not accept any vouchers on festoolrecon.com. Your local dealer can help you with any special offer Festool launches.

Where does Festool ship reconditioned tools?

At this time Festool USA ships to the contiguous US. This excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

How do I know when a certain tool will become available on festoolrecon.com?

Festool reserves the right to pick offers at random. It will not be transparent what tool will be for sale next. You will only learn of new offers through the official announcement sent out with the recon newsletter posting.  Once it expires, the next offer will become available.  

Can I buy new tools, consumables and accessories from Festool?

Festool is proud to work with a great number of reliable partners and specialists. Our dealer network provides customers all over the US with not only the world’s best power tools but also professional advice. Festool is only selling reconditioned tools.

Why does Festool need to sell reconditioned tools?

We receive reconditioned tools from a number of sources. A majority from dealers since we have a very generous return policy that plays a key role in offering top of the line customer service for both our dealers and end users.
